Title: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the program management of all aspects of the deployment of the access and backhaul networks including network dimensioning; design and planning; site acquisition; site construction; installation & commissioning of equipment and network integration.
- Set up the Network Deployment process, procedures, documentation and tracking programs.
- Profiling and selection of project staff.
- Oversee team of Engineers in applying knowledge of all existing wireless networks to design next generation of broadband wireless technology.
- Direct activities of project staff to outline work plan and coordinate assigned duties and responsibilities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
- Support project staff in the field, including personnel from GTA, clients and contractors.
- Provide direction and address issues for project team members, understanding their unique and complementary roles, interdependencies and responsibility of each within the project framework.
- Communicate the team budget, milestones and deliverables to project management and implement plans to accomplish the milestones within budget.
- Read and ensure full understanding of the contract engineering scope of work, coordinate initial project set-up, and work plans for each of the projects.
- Perform performance reviews of subordinates and play an active role in recruitment of engineering staff.
- Preparation of RFQ and evaluation, selection and contracting of subcontractors. Help with proposal writing and tender responses.
- Pricing of Services and establishment of supplier performance bonus schemes.
- Preparation of standard contracts.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree & 5 years experience. Frequent travel.
