Title: Visual Basic Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain database driven tools.
• Provide design support, coding, testing and integration of software.
• Create developing graphical user interface software.
• Demonstrate experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Exhibit Windows development experience.
• Work with database administration.
• Program applications using two or more languages, one of which must be VB.
• Validate knowledge of building and using SQL CLR classes within .NET 2.0, administering SQL CLRS and implementing them within SQL Server 2005.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Windows Task Management using VB Scripting, SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Use Stored Procedures, triggers, and functions in SQL Server 2005.
• Reveal experience using the SQL Server Integration Services for ETL purposes using Visual Basic 2005 and VB.Net, for both building and implementation packages.
• Analyze system requirements and design specifications, as well as develop diagrams and logic charts.
• Translate detailed designs into computer programs, and test, debug, and refine computer programs to produce the required product.
• Prepare required documentation to include both program and user-level documentation.
• Create, develop and write papers, memorandums, and briefings in support of the client as required.

Requirements: Bachelor of Arts/Science is preferred in an Information Technology or engineering field (Information Systems, Network Engineering, System Engineering or Computer Science) is required, and 5 years' experience. Frequent travel.
