Title: Database Developer

Responsibilities:

• Display knowledge of database development, database maintenance and tuning, data modeling, n-tier architecture and data warehousing.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of MS SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Business Intelligence Tools, and Transact SQL.
• Responsible for the quality and integrity of data in the databases, to include creating, enhancing and maintaining high performance of the databases using desktop tools.
• Establish and maintain database designs and firm-wide database strategies, performance tuning, query optimization, procedures, applications, processes, and documentation.
• Evaluate and recommend software and hardware components to improve database, data integrity and application system performance.
• Set-up new and maintain existing backup and recovery strategies, database maintenance and performance tuning, and perform routine backup jobs and recovery as needed.
• Interface with developers and end-users throughout the development life-cycle.
• Work independently, demonstrating strong background in data export, transformation and load, data-tier systems development, database administration, database development and data quality analysis.

Requirements: Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in Math, Computer Science or Engineering is required, and 5 years’ experience. Frequent travel.
