Farzad Ghassemi has more than 20 years of technical / management experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing Cellular / PCS networks domestically and internationally. Since founding the company in 2005, Farzad has been the President of GTA. From 1999 to 2005, Farzad served as an Executive Officer and the President of Wireless Facilities, Inc. (Nasdaq: WFII). At WFI, he was responsible for the company's Wireless Network Services Business Unit with an annual revenue $290 MM. His responsibilities included Engineering and Network Deployment services globally. Prior to WFI, Farzad held technical and management positions with BCI Wireless and LCC International. At LCC (1991 - 1997), Farzad was responsible for the RF design, development, and optimization of analog / digital cellular communication systems (AMPS, IS-136, GSM, CDMA, and iDEN). Farzad received his M.B.A. in Management from Strayer University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University.
Aman Udani has more than 15 years of experience in the wireless communications industry. Since 2007, he has been the Vice President of GTA, having corporate and operational responsibilities. Prior to joining GTA, Aman was the Senior Director of Engineering at Wireless Facilities, Inc. (Nasdaq: WFII), responsible for Engineering management and support in pricing, proposals, sales, partnerships, policy/procedures, and recruiting. He has managed many multi-million dollar engineering projects for CDMA, GSM and iDEN technologies in all top 50 markets in the US. He also supported international sales of engineering services in Israel, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, India, Mexico, Canada and multiple countries in Europe. Aman earned his M.S. degree in Physics from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL, and his B.A. degree in Physics and Astronomy from Benedictine College, Atchison, KS.
David Walsh has 25+ years of experience in the design, build-out and operations of wireless networks. David is the Vice-President of Business Development at GTA. Prior to joining GTA, David was co-Managing Partner at America Connect, Inc. from 2002 to 2006, where he led development initiatives including carrier and vendor discussions, market and spectrum assessments, regulatory representations, technology analysis and product selections. Prior to that David was Vice President - Program Development / Technology & Operations at Tritel Communications, Inc. from 1998 to 2001. At this AT&T affiliate, he managed an organization of 220 staff along with a capital budget responsibility of $550M. From 1989 to 1998 he was Area Director / Key Account Management at Ericsson, Inc. where he managed an organization of 40+ internal and contract resources. He was responsible for collaborative development and execution of Ericsson's Key Account Management initiative. David has two wireless industry related US patents under his name. David has an M.S. / B.S. Accounting from University of North Texas, Denton, TX.
Omer Hassan has 20+ years of technical / management experience in wireless telecom. Omer is currently the Vice President of Engineering at GTA, responsible for Engineering Operations and Project Management. Prior to joining GTA, Omer was Director of Engineering at WFI from 1999 to 2007, where he was responsible for managing all of WFI's GSM Engineering projects as well as the engineering design and planning of the first nationwide broadband network (Metricom). Omer was a Project Manager at LCC International from 1992 to 1999, where he managed various engineering projects in New York, Los Angeles, Mexico and Bahrain. Before migrating to the US, Omer was the Deputy Director of Transmission for Sudan Telecom from1987 to1991, where his responsibilities included planning, installation, operation and maintenance of microwave, satellite, cable and cellular systems. Omer has a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Khartoum, Sudan.
